SEA Games 2023: Men's volleyball draw again after Philippines requests to join

The men's indoor volleyball team has decided to re-draw the group after the Philippines applied to compete for medals at the 2023 SEA Games, which Cambodia is hosting.

In the re-draw on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, the host Cambodia is in Group A with Singapore, the Philippines and 2021 gold medalists Indonesia, while Group B includes Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Myanmar.

The men's indoor volleyball group stage will start on May 3, 2023. With Group A, Cambodia will face Singapore on the opening day and the Philippines will face Indonesia at the opening of Group B Malaysia. Touch Thailand and Myanmar meet Vietnam.

The 32nd SEA Games 2023 has 11 countries participating in 37 sports divided into 581 disciplines approved by the Council of Southeast Asian Sports Federation. For volleyball, there are men's volleyball in the women's volleyball court, men's volleyball in the beach volleyball and women's beach volleyball.
