At least nine teenagers were injured in a shooting spree at a party in Texas, according to local police.
The agency said in a Facebook post on Sunday morning that officials from the Jasper County Sheriff's Office responded to the unrest at a residence in northern Jasper after midnight. Police found nine non-life-threatening injuries.
Jasper County Sheriff's Office spokesman Karli Cherry told CNN by email Sunday morning that the victim was between 15 and 19 years old. The injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment. A message posted said the investigation was ongoing and some people were being questioned.
