British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will host a conference for business leaders on Monday, where he will pledge to work with companies in anticipation of economic recovery and focus on the fate of his party. Before the election, which is expected to be held next year.
The conference, dubbed the "Business Link", is part of Sunak's attempt to build the ruling Conservative Party's relationship with businesses affected during the economic turmoil during former Prime Minister Boris' term. Johnson and Liz Truss.
Sunak has been recovering from one of his five top priorities after gross domestic product, or GDP, recovered ahead of the COVID-19 global pandemic in February.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecast released this month shows the UK's slowest pace among the world's fastest-growing economies in terms of expected growth in 2023. The economy is forecast to shrink by 0.3 percent.
