A crowd enjoying a live performance at Disneyland in California, USA, fled the scene Saturday night during construction. The animated giant dragon was engulfed in flames.
A video on social media shows a 13-meter-tall Maleficent fire dragon building engulfed in flames as firefighters try to put it out. Flames.
The fire broke out during a Fantasmic performance featuring water cannons, fireworks and Mickey Mouse.
No one was injured in the blaze.
At one point, a huge fire erupted from the giant dragon as the crowd could hear the alarm and the park staff shouted. Leave the area.
Disney said in a statement that due to the thick smoke, park officials were evacuated from nearby locations.
The statement added that the cause of the fire was still being investigated and that a similar fire would be reported. Suspend all entertainment activities around the world to avoid any danger.
